My deepest sympathy to all the Bohrer family and know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I owe a tremendous debt to Les for the success I have had in my career as he was the Commander of the KCKPD Police Academy when I went through in 1984. I also attended the FBI National Academy and served as Chief of Police in Fairway, Kansas for seven years; none of my career achievements would have been possible without the initial training and direction his academy leadership provided. Thank you Les for serving our Country and its people. To put it simply, you left it better than you found it.
