Kay, was my American mom, from the day of her birthday 5th November back in 1979. I came from Denmark to stay in her family’s house – and she took me in with no hesitation. With 5 children and a business to run, she never hesitated, but always help me, being new to the US. Bless this wonderful, strong, beautiful and open minded woman, who is no longer with us. Thank you to all of the Muehlberger family, my deepest condolences go out to all you. Your sister, Susanne

Dear Joni and Muehlberger family, I have been blessed to know your Mom for so very long. After school we united again to get together as families to play cards and just an excuse to get together. I just wanted you to know that I have felt so bad about the decline of her health. Wishing all of you peace and comfort.

To Kaye’s family, I send my deepest condolences. Although I did not know Kaye well while we were students at Westport High School, I had the opportunity, through our Westport Gals luncheon group, to become friends with this dear lady. She was funny, intelligent, and thoughtful. She has been and will continue to be missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
