  1. Daniel Menke Says:

Very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Rick that well because of our age difference. I did enjoy talking with him on holiday visits.

  2. John Tacha Says:

I am so saddened to learn of Rick’s passing—just talked to him a few months ago and he was upbeat as always. We talked a bit about basketball, as always, and he was going to see if he could locate Steve Culbertson for me. Rick played for me at Concordia High School and he always competed to a high level. My memories of him then were that he was rather quiet, with a wry sense of humor and was super loyal to me and to his teammates. I am positive that he was a great Dad, husband and grandfather. I KNOW that he was a good basketball player and student at CHS and I will miss seeing him at our next reunion. RIP

    Coach Tacha

Dennis and I were sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. We always enjoyed the visits with Rick and Opal when they visited Dale and Jaynes cabin next to ours. Our sympathy to the entire family. Dennis and Eddie Mae
