He delivered both of my children and when my son was born, he came to deliver Eric on his day off. I had many great conversations with him and he made me feel comfortable and safe. Remarkable man, remarkable doctor. Keeping family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Huse was what every physician should be. In medical books, his picture should be with the definition of what a doctor should be. My prayers are with his family.

Dr. Huse spent many years exercising at our cardiac rehab gym. He was a great guy who was always pleasant and motivated. It was a pleasure to have known him. He will be missed. Our prayers are with your family.

  5. Lynda D. Says:

Dr. Huse was definitely one of my most favorite people. The man was the best, in every way – professional and in humanity.
During my office visits, he would saunter in the room, carrying my chart. Asking “how’s Lynda?” I would answer & ask how he was doing? He would always reply “I’m doing well I’m fat and sassy “.
He delivered three out of four of my children, the first child he didn’t deliver because he was on a ski trip in January. The third child I had been in the hospital over 14 hours, – Dr. Huse stayed with me the whole time.
I once to told him, he had been “the most stable, reliable contact in my life”. He had been my physician longer than any bank account I have ever had, longer than any car I’ve ever owned, longer than any job I had ever worked at, longer than any marriage I had ever been in. He just chuckled.
Always at the end of my appointments, he would make the comment (w/his chuckle w/his hands in his white coat pockets).
“Well, try to stay out of trouble & and if you can’t – you know where to find me”.
Dr. Huse was the BEST of the BEST!

  6. Rhonda Schmidt Says:

Dr. Huse was such a special doctor with bed side manner that always made me comfortable. I wish all doctors were as mild mannered and cared about the people the way Dr. Huse did. He will be missed but not forgotten. Thank you for taking care of me and my three children.

  7. Patty Chirpich Says:

Dr. Huse holds a very special place in my heart! Recently, when I heard of his passing, I felt sad with a real “tug at my heart!” Dr. Huse delivered both my sons. When my first son was born, Dr. Huse said, “Looks like you have a football player here”. (My oldest son weighed 11 pounds.) When I was in labor with my second son, Dr. Huse came into my room, hands in pocket, and said, “How we doing here.” He had a friendly, caring bedside manner! Although I had not seen Dr. Huse since his retirement, I feel as if it was just yesterday! He left a soft spot in my heart! I will always remember him! Thank you for being a part of my life as well as my sons! Peace.

  8. Virginia Wessling Says:

Dr. Huse was my Dr. for many years. At one point I had
a serious medical illness and he performed major surgery
on me. He was a wonderful Dr. He was calm and good-
natured. I saw him coming out of St. Joseph Hospital
in the past two years and he told me he missed his
patients. He holds a special place in my heart.
