Dear Fred Sr, Fred, Anne and family, I wanted to convey my most heartfelt condolences to all, and I am keeping you all in my prayers. I have visited with Anna on different occasions. But the one that sticks in my mind is sitting on the sofa beside her in her son Fred’s home a few years ago. I had asked her – “What was Fred like as a child?” Anna’s face lit up and she proceeded to tell me all about her son Fred, and how proud she was of the man he had become. I could see the love in her face as she told me stories. That is how I will always remember Anna.

Dear Fred, Annie and Family,
I am so sad at the loss of your mom. I still ache for my grandmother who passed 13 years ago, to whom I only grew close once Grandpa died and the dementia and loss of sight set in. Suddenly she wasn’t too busy to sit and listen and love me. Rest in peace Audrey Allen. Rest in peace also my late stepmother Debbie Allen who passed from brain cancer on 2015. Please welcome Anna into Heaven’s angels.

In the great words of Shneidman
“Mourning is one of the most profound human experiences that it is possible to have. The deep capacity to weep for the loss of a loved one and to continue to treasure the memory of that loss is one of our noblest human traits”

May this trait guide you and help you to uphold her memory.

Mr. Zickwolf,

What a testament to you and your wonderful wife to have 69 years of marriage. What a blessing you have been to each other. I work with Anne at the hospital and know from visiting with her that you are both very special. I know that life will not be the same without your precious Anna. In Proverbs 31:10 it states: “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels”
God Bless you Mr. Zickwolf

Dear Fred, I am so sorry to hear of Anna’s passing away. You and she will always be a part of the many memories I have of forty three in Oak Park—-wonderful neighbors, Holy Spirit Church, stopping to visit when we passed each others’ houses while out on walks in the neighborhood, and keeping up with what’s going on with families on 102nd Terr. Anna’s warm personality, kindness, and caring ways will be remembered by everyone who knew her. Heaven has received a special angel. My sympathy and prayers for God to bless you and your family with comfort and peace at this sad time, Geri Auslander
