Anne was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas.  After graduating from Aquinas High School in Shawnee, Kansas and Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, she made her home in Shawnee. 

 

 Anne’s main background is in education, with a Master’s Degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University.  She taught in the Kansas City, Kansas School District and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, mostly in primary grades.  She also worked part-time for Harcourt Brace School Publishers as a state consultant.  She and her husband, Mark, are members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

 

 Since 2009, Anne has been the pet cremation consultant at the funeral home.  Her love for furry family members came at an early age, when at one point, she wanted to become a veterinarian. 

 

She shares her home with her husband, Mark, and five furry kids:  Binx, Daisy, Callie, Raven and Eddie.  Anne also has four stepchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Jené, and Ashley, as well as three grandchildren.  Her favorite thing to do is travel.
