  1. Eva-Marie Pieters (Nickel) Says:

I am honored to have known cousin Edeltrud.
I appreciated her kindness and good advice in moments of uncertainty.
She was also very liked by my late parents, Josef, brother of her father, & Hedwig Nickel.
    May she rest in peace.
    My sympathy to her family.
Eva-Marie Pieters (née Nickel) and Freddy Pieters

  2. David Burger Says:

Trudi remained a friend to my mother, Donna, and kept her well stocked with her famous and delicious German bread. Her generosity and caring heart was always appreciated by mom and our whole family. Eternal rest, and a good kitchen, grant unto her, O Lord.

  3. Joan LaCombe Cansler Says:

    Dear Nichols family,
I am just now learning that your sweet mama passed last month.
What a dear lady she was.
As a child I remember going to your house and thinking what a darling family you all were. The boys were to young to remember us LaCombe kids but Gudrun and my sister Carol were in school together, so I’m thinking that is where our mothers first became acquainted.
Ursula, I remember thinking if I could change my name I would take the Ursula too.
I so appreciated your mother’s kindness to our mom Eleanor.
Trudy was always touching base with mom and was known to leave baked goods for mom to enjoy.
My belated sympathies to you all.
    Joan LaCombe Cansler
