Amarjit Nagra

Amarjit Singh Nagra (57) passed away in his home on September 29th, 2017. Amarjit was born to Nazar Singh Nagra and Chint Kaur Nagra in Nagra/Jalandhar on May 15th, 1960. He moved to Kansas City in 1978 when he was 18. On February 15th, 1990, he married Parmjit Nagra. They were married for 27 years. He was a cherished member of the community. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered, whether it be from working at Marriott, driving a semi-truck across the country, participating in community events, or everyday encounters. Amarjit was known for his sense of humor, his devotion to others, and his motivation to work hard and provide not only for his family, but also anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Nazar and Chint Nagra. He is survived by his wife, Parmjit (46), son, Lovedeep (26), and daughter, Sharnpreet (23). He is also survived by his four siblings and their families. We will never forget his smile and his ability to make others smile.
Services
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 12:00 at Amos Family Funeral Home, located at 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, KS 66203.

Our deepest condolences go out to mamiji, Lovedeep, Sharnpreet and the entire Nagra parivaar, for the lost of our dear mamaji. I will never forgot Mamaji’s smile and the love he showed us all, which could not only be seen through his eyes but also felt by his loving words. I cant believe we have lost our mamaji so suddenly.
