  6. Dan Van Goethem Says:

    Dear Family of TF Beard,
The Van Goethem family is very sorry for your loss.
Bob, my dad, who is now deceased, and TF were good friends and enjoyed numerous hunting trips together over the years. Ken Beard and my dad were also friends and I believe they worked together at Simmons in Fairfax. Presumably, dad met TF through Ken.
When my brother David and I were 7 or 8, we started “hunting” with Dad and TF. David and I really enjoyed these hunting trips and they bring back found memories today. We usually went quail hunting at the Taylor’s farm near Lane, KS. TF was always very kind and helpful to David and me on these hunting trips. We always hunted with very good bird dogs that TF had raised and trained.
TF was a very nice man and we all have fond memories of him.
Sincerely, Donna, David, Danny and Diane
