Print Obituary & Condolences

Dee leaves a void in so many lives. Her vibrant personality, quick wit, beauty, intellect, and talents were just the traits she shared on the surface. Deeper, she was the most loving, caring, compassionate woman I have ever known. A concerned and loving Mother and Grandmother, a steadfast and loyal friend. Her children and grandson came first always. I will miss her more than she or anyone will ever know. Thinking of her now and always, she brings a smile to my heart. Her courage in her battle with her illness inspired and humbled me, and was an inspiration for all. She fought to have a life that she so deeply wanted with grace, dignity and unselfishness. Dee, my best and closest friend, my love, I will always be thinking of you, and doing my best to live my life with honor, dignity and passion, as you did living your life. Rest quietly now, you left your mark on this world, your legacy will live on. You will not be forgotten. I will forever cherish having known you.
My beautiful sister Denise will live in my heart forever.
As young girls I always looked up to her and was so proud she was my sister. The lose I feel is hard to express but I truly believe she is now surrounded by love and joy in heaven. Our brother, Larry our sister Sandra and our dad, Ralph are greeting her to our family home in heaven.
I will take her with me everywhere in my life here on earth and look forward to seeing her again. On earth we lived so very far apart but every time we talked on the phone it was as if we were once again cross legged on our beds, as young girls, visiting as best friends. I love her so very much.
I am very sorry to hear the news of Dee’s passing. Having worked together many years ago I had the opportunity to hear from her on several occasions her ambition’s for herself and her two children. From the comments posted above it is good to hear that she succeeded in accomplishing the most important things in life with loving relationships from her family and friends. No doubt she is still flashing her smile from above!
