Romans 14:7-9
For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
John,
The world has lost yet another from the “Greatest Generation”. I’m certain your father was a wonderful man, one of honor, integrity, and great wisdom. Take comfort in knowing that your dad has left this life for a much better one with our Lord, and that you will be reunited again someday. May you sense God’s tender words being spoken to your heart, “I am your God and I will be your Comfort”.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” Matthew 5:4
