To my Hammond family, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jack Sr. was a very kind, funny and memorable man and will be missed by everyone that ever met him. I love you all, Lori
I am so sorry to hear Jack has passed. I have many great memories of him. He always treated me and my boys as part of the family. My love and prayers go out to all of you. Love you all Jan
I considered Jack Sr very much a part of my own life – and old, old friend. I’ll always miss knowing he’s there in KC, making jokes, hosting parties and generally enjoying life to the hilt. But it’s nice to remember what a wonderful, loving and involved family he had – and knowing he had, on the whole, a really good life. There will be a huge void in the Hammond family, but also so many happy and funny memories! Remember Jack that way. Helen Kirkendall
May you know the peace that passes understanding as you celebrate together the full life of “Grampy.” On those difficult days Psalm 23 is a wonderful reminder that God is with us in the valleys. We are thinking of you. Jerry & Sherry Reynolds
In my 15 or so years working at TWA with Jack Hammond as my lead man, I came to know Jack as a personal friend and mentor. In the many memories I treasure in my relationship with Jack, was one in which he would take my head between his hands, draw my face straight to his, nose to nose, eye to eye, and then say to me, “Larry, are you in there?” That memory lives on, as I do this to my grandchildren. He truly touched my life in a special way. May God bless all Jack’s family. Larry Williams
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. Jack will be missed by all of those that knew him. We always loved to visit with him and listen to his wonderful stories. He was one person that could always bring a smile to your face!
May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.
