Dennis E. DeGrandpre

Dennis Edward DeGrandpre, 69, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. 

 

Dennis was born June 15, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington. He owned and operated Grand Prix Motors inVancouver, Washington, for many years. He loved spending his time with his family, outdoor adventures and all animals. Dennis especially loved riding his bike, flying his airplane, boating and fishing.

 

He will be greatly missed by his five children, Diane Snyder and her husband, John, Leawood, Kansas, Julie DeGrandpre, Prairie Village, Kansas, John DeGrandpre, Kansas City, Missouri, Audrey DeGrandpre, Kansas City, Missouri and Dennis DeGrandpre, Jr., Oregon; three brothers Tom DeGrandpre, Steve DeGrandpre, both of Vancouver, Washington and Phil DeGrandpre, Portland, Oregon; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Hannah and Gretchen Snyder, Leawood, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

 

Graveside Service

 

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
