Esther M. Kane
Esther M. Kane, 68, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Esther was born September 7, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in the Willoughby/Mentor area until the last six years when she moved to Olathe. She attended Willoughby North High School. Esther worked for many years in retail but her most fun years were working at Liberty Fitness and Curves where she loved interacting with clients.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Edna Kane. She is survived by her sister, Betty (William) Hudson, Olathe, Kansas; brother, Frank (Carol) Kane, Solon, Ohio; nieces, Lori Stewart, Marysville, Ohio, and Vickie (Rick) Senyitko; great-niece and nephew, Morgan and Adam Senyitko, Brunswick, Ohio; and other close family members, Marianne Hudson, Prairie Village, Kansas, and Liza (Brad), Steve and Johnny Carver, Shawnee, Kansas.
Esther was fun, kind, loving, giving, and caring and will be sorely missed.
The family sincerely appreciates the compassionate care received at both Shawnee Mission Medical Center and Kansas City Hospice House.
Memorial Service – Shawnee Mission, Kansas
The local memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center Chapel.
Visitation and Memorial Service – Willoughby, Ohio
The Willoughby, Ohio, visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Whilloughby, Ohio 44094, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
