Messages of Condolence

My Aunt Verna was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever know. I was so thankful that she re-connected with my Uncle Elmer so many years after their high school days. They were a great match for each other.

Aunt Verna always offered a smile and hug with her kindness and I will never forget her generous offering of love to me, my wife Beth and to our kids, Kate, Meg and Nick. She was a great addition to the Armbruster family many years ago.

Rest in peace, Aunt Verna. We love you. God be with your family in this time as we celebrate your long life.

    Steve Armbruster and family

Dear Verna Rose, I’m so sorry about your mother’s death. Even when we know it’s coming, the loss of our dear person is hard to take. I’m imagining myself in that position and it surprises me how sad I already feel in advance.
Please know that I’ve been thinking of you in sympathy,
    Linnea

Verna was a wonderful step mother to me and my siblings when she married my dad, Elmer. When they married, my dad had been very ill and they married, even though they didn’t think they would have much time together. They were blessed with 32 years of marriage and the entire Armbruster family was specially blessed to have Verna in our lives. She was a wonderful, warm, loving and hospitable woman. She always extended a warm welcome to come and spend time with them at their home and always went out of her way to make every visit special. She was so happy to have a Christian husband who would go to church with her and she made a special contribution to the S.D.A.church they attended for many years in Grass Valley, CA. She was loved by many and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to the day when we will meet again in that better land, never to part again!
