    Kate, Bridget and all Hashmans,
The world is a sadder place today, but Heaven must be glorious with Frank there. May the angels be there to greet him. We are so sorry for your loss words cannot express our sadness. I always enjoyed stopping into your house, just like one of your kids, talking to Frank having him call me “Miss America” and I always admired his devotion to the Holy Rosary….he will be missed! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Dear Hashman Family,
Some of my earliest memories of St. Joe are of Frank coming over to school on Veterans’ Day to remind the children to honor this country and our veterans. Many have learned important lessons from him including myself. He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.
Frank had great faith. That was clear to all who knew him. May that give you comfort and peace during this time of sorrow.
    Love,
    Karen Nusbaum

    To the Hashman Family,
We enjoyed seeing your family at mass and I remember when
the Sign of Peace came around, Frank would say “I love you” instead
of the normal response, it always made me smile, and I believe he
made a lot of people smile. May God give his peace to your family at this time.

    Dear Kate,
I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, Frank. I am sure you will miss him dearly, and I know you will cherish his memory.
It is times like these that we need much in the way of comfort and support and I look to God’s Word the Bible for both. I find scriptures such as 2Corinthians 1:3,4 which shows how the “God of Comfort” will give you the courage and the strength to cope. Psalms 55:22 assures us of God’s love by allowing us to throw all of our burdens on him, and both John 11:25 and John 5:28,29 speaks of the resurrection hope that we hold out for our dear loved ones.
I hope these scriptures help you as they have for me. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in this most difficult time.

    Beth,
