I am so sorry, still in a state of disbelief. Steve was our best friend of all best friends. We are just heartbroken and want to extend our love and sympathy to you.

Dear Family – We wish we could be with you during this time. Although we didn’t get to see Steve as much as we would have liked to, we have special memories of him. You are in our prayers. Love you, Earl, Betty and family

So sorry to hear of our loss today . Steve was such a nice guy always a joy to be around ,his smile (I can still see it now !) was contagious . Never judgemental towards anyone . I met him in the late 60s and attached to him as a friend immediately ,lived in Texas myself from 1980-1989 . When the opportunity of working in Clearlake Tx. arose I would generally stop by for a visit ..In my book Steve was always on the top shelf . My heart and condolences goes out to you on our great loss…BoB Mitchell

Dear Vicki and Rick, Wilbert and I are so very sorry to hear about Steve. He was always a fun guy to be around. After we graduated together in 1969 we lost touch of each other as the years passed by. I’m sorry that we can not leave Arizona at this time, but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Vicki and Rick: Mark and I are so sorry to hear about Steve. I know your hearts are broken and its always so very hard on the ones left on this earth to mourn. I have so many good memories about Steve in grade school. He was the coolest guy in school. He probably didn’t even know I was alive, but I had such a crush on him all through grade school, as I’m sure most other girls did too. Sorry we can’t be at the memorial service, but know that you all are in our prayers. May God send His comforter to lift you up during this time of great loss. It was so good to see you, Vicki, at the reunion. Take care.
