Neil, it is difficult to think that Mary won"t be in her physical presence with us anymore. Even though we know that she was in a lot of pain the last years of her life, we never heard her complain. She was always an inspiration to us, any time we spoke to her. The wonderful news is that she is now with her heavenly Father. Well done good and faithful servant! Our prayer is that our heavenly Father will wrap his love around you and your family during all your times of sadness. Love Rich and Bonnie

Terri--so sorry to learn your Mom lost her battle. I pray you can find consolation in remembering that you were beside her every step of the way. My heartfelt sympathy to you, your dad and whole family at this time. Sincerely, Barb Kreutzer

Uncle Neil and family, Dean and I want to convey our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Aunt Mary was such a caring and happy person. We have many fond memories of your family coming to visit in Hampton, and Cindy and Terri staying on at Mom and Dads house to visit. Sorry that we cannot make it to the funeral.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

Terri & family, I was sorry to hear the news of your mom. During this difficult time may you be comforted by God's peace and the love your mom showed to her family and the love you are now sharing with each other to walk this diffucult road. May her memories soon bring smiles to your faces. In Christ, Cindi Marquardt

Dear Neil and family, We join Mary's family and many, many friends who will miss her presence at OPLC. She was truly an example for us as she participated in various church activities. We were beneficiaries of her teaching as she helped lead or shared her knowledge of our Lord in Sunday School, Circle and Bible study groups. It is our prayer that the God, whose compassion, love and mercy are without limits, will be a source of comfort as you grieve the loss of a dear one in the days ahead.

We were so sad to hear that Mary had passed away. We have been next door neighbors for 5 years and couldn't imagine having better neighbors. Mary was always so friendly and her smile was always so nice to see. I can recall so many happy times standing at our fence talking. She will truely be missed!

Our thoughts and prayers will be with her family during this sad time.

Friends and Neighbors,

Our thoughts are with you, as you feel the loss of Mary. She was a devoted wife to Neil and she loved her children & grandchildren very much. She will be missed by everyone, including her friends.

We had the honor of spending the last 7 years with Mary and Neil on Wednesdays playing pool in our basement. We shared lots of good times and laughs. Normally, they would beat us at our own game. Mary was a "pool shark" on some days. We looked forward to seeing them on a weekly basis and will miss those good times together.

We shared birthdays, swapped stories, and even enjoyed lunch sometimes. Mary would bring that delicious pie!

We took a lot for granted and thought those days would go on forever. Unfortunately, nothing is forever.

God bless Mary & all her friends at the Overland Park Lutheran Church but most of all her sweet husband, Neil, & her family who will miss her the most.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your mom, grandmother and wife. I know her smiling face will be missed but I hope you're comforted by the fact that she is with her Heavenly Father and that one day you will see her again!

Sorry to hear of Marys' death. We walked together at Quivira
Sports Club and enjoyed laughs together even though many mornings were difficult for Mary due to her back pain. My sincere sympathy goes out to her husband and children.
