I am deeply saddened by this news, Dylan hung out with my daughter Alyssa and I really enjoyed having him around. He was a great kid!

  2. cindy buddemeyer on February 18th, 2010 6:48 pm

Doug, I am so sorry to hear about your son passing. I have lived thru this walk, but not as close as it has come to your family. There are no words of wisdom, no words of hope, no words to ease the pain, just want to say I am so sorry your family has to travel down this road. I have hope for your families future and pray that this can be a bearable task laid ahead. GOD be with you. Cindy B from Dr. Fasbinders office

There are no words to express how much Dylan will be missed. I am so happy that we had him in our lives for the last 17 (almost 18…) years. I will be there on Saturday for the service. Scott and Matt wish they could also be there and send their love and prayers. We’ll miss Dylan.

  4. Seth Martin on February 18th, 2010 7:41 pm

He was one of the greatest friends I have ever had and I am happy that I was fortunate enough to have him as a brother. Everywhere I look I see his face or hear his voice and even though it saddens me that I wont be able to make any new memories with him, it serves as a constant reminder just how large of an impact he had on my life and that makes me smile. Honestly I don’t have enough room to describe how close our bond was or how many stupid inside jokes we made so I will sum it up with just this one: GRAPE DRANK!

  5. Rachel Kaskie on February 18th, 2010 9:04 pm

My heart is broken by this news. Dylan is the greatest friend I could ever ask for, and the most loving person I have known. I will miss him so much, and I will live my life out for him.

We are in disbelief. Dylan was at our home on Sunday Feb 14, 2010 and now he’s gone? We don’t want this to be true, we don’t know what to say except we will miss Dylan and for Seth, Dylan’s mom and dad….you are in our thoughts and prayers. I’ll be there on saturday, but I don’t think Taylor will be able to handle the service. God Bless Dylan and your family…..

  31. Sally Dannov on March 8th, 2010 5:55 pm

My deepest sympathies to you at this very difficult time. I am so very sad to hear of Dylan’s passing and I want to express the condolences of the 20/20 Leadership Board of Directors. I did not see the notice until today or I would certainly have been there to give you my wishes in person. I remember Dylan so well from the first time I met him until his last program day for 20/20 Leadership. I was so impressed that he attended so many of our program days. He amazed me when he was brave enough to get up in front of over 100 people at Hallmark Cards and present the SM North student project for 20/20 Leadership “Olympics” competition in front of Hallmark, Sprint and UMB Business leaders and School District Superintendents from all over the metro area. It was a proud moment. Please know that our thoughts are with you and our hearts are so very heavy.

  32. Barbara Jolly on April 2nd, 2010 6:31 pm

What a terrible shock. I am not even sure how one deals with this type of tragedy. Only one who has lost a child can truly know the pain you feel. My prayers are with you. Barbara Jolly
