Dorothy was a very special person, like a Mother to me. She was such a bundle of engery and joy and made you happy just to be around her, You never had to wonder how she felt about something because she told it like it was whether you liked it or not. Dorthy will be missed by everyone who ever knew her and most by her family. My heart goes out to them at this time.

I was only around Dorothy a few times and didn’t know her well but
I did enjoy talking and laughing with her. She was my cousins’
grandmother, my aunt’s mom. Seeing them together was like seeing very, very close friends. You could see the love in their hearts shining in their eyes for one another. She will be missed by all of her family and even those of us who were merely acquaintances. .
May God Bless you Dorothy. and may God be with all of your family in
    this precious time of memories.
    Janine

Dorothy & mother were such good friends for more than 70 plus years. When mother , my sister (Francie) and I would go to visit Dorothy, Jim, Robert Elton and Sharon in Kansas City, MO it was an adventure. Changing buses several time (didn’t have a car back then) and knowing we would have a wonderful time at the end of the line. We always did!
Memories are the best part of life and I always smile when I think of Dorothy. GOD bless you all!
Rhonda Lynn .. she always called me that.
