I met Charles when we were about 13 years old. He has been like a brother to me, I can’t say how much I will miss him. We have shared some stressful times, and very happy times.

To Sharon and the Reasoner Family:

I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with Charlie for 34 years, he in the Street Department and me in Transit for UG. I’ve spent these past days thinking about some of the fun we’ve had. I live on 67th so when the Street Department was on Cernech he used to bring my german shepherd home when she’d run over to their complex. She loved him and enjoyed riding in his pickup so I teased him constantly about the two of them. I’ll miss that grin and the sparing back and forth. He was without a doubt one of the finest and nicest persons anyone would ever want to know. He’ll be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

    To the Reasoner Family,

What can I say about Charlie, AKA Chuck Nasty. I have worked daily with Charlie for many years and every day was a new adventure with him. He was always smiling and never had a loss for a joke or a funny remark. Charlie was a dedicated employee and loved his job and the men that he worked with. Charlie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the UG Street Department and its employees

I have worked with Chuck for almost thirtyyears. We have seen alot through the years. Chuck started out as a mentor to me and end up a good friend. If it wasn’t for Chuck I wouldn’t be where I am today. He saved my job a few times in my younger days. We will miss your lame jokes that always made us laugh. But we will never forget your time here at the Street Division. Please keep that snow wall up for us.

I will always remember Charlie coming out to dinner w/ Sharon and the Clarrey family and I to have dinner or to a get-together…it was never really a get-together unless he and Sharon were there, and I always received great gifts from them on various occasions.

Charlie was a warm, funny, and friendly person who I will miss dearly…
