He and my father, Bill Bopp, worked together at the Kansan for many years. Lowell was such a fine man. He set a great example for the many teenagers like me, who got their "working world" start at the Kansan. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Though I wasn't as close an associate as those who worked with him at the "Kansan", I always enjoyed seeing and conversing with him when we were together.
