Valerie, Brett, and Whitney, I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband/dad was a wonderful man and will be missed. Please let me know if you need anything. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Valerie, Brett and Whitney;
We are visiting my sister in Albuquerque but am glad to see that we will be back in time for the funeral. We both loved Darryl. He was such a good and loving person. He bragged about his kids all of the time and was so proud of you both. I am so sorry for your loss but know that your father was such a good person and a great father and husband; he showed his family such respect and was a great friend too. We will keep your family in our prayers.
Love always….Mary and Dave Bowers
We’ve not only lost a good friend we’ve also lost a star in the industry. Our relationship started as a professional one but quickly changed once we realized our shared passion of fishing. Sometimes we even got to discussing my jobs. I can count on one hand the men I can count on to hold up their end of a project and no one did that better than Darryl. He taught me an awful lot over the last 20 yrs.
Darryl told me about a lodge in Canada and assured me my son and me would enjoy everything about the lodge, lake, and the owners. As always he was right and this year will make our seventh time back. This time at our favorite shore lunch spot I will carefully select a rock. Not just any rock but one that seems special to me. I’ll place it where I can visit it again and where just a small part of your spirit can always enjoy this lake you loved.
Valerie, Brett and Whitney I am so sorry, Darryl always spoke so well of you, especially times at the cabin. God bless all of you.
My husband and I know Darryl and Brett through our Company Marble Creations in Olathe. We are shocked and saddened to hear of Darryl’s passing. So young. We pray for all of you and know that he is in a better place and watching over you. May God Bless you with love and friendship at your time of loss. What a nice man and we enjoyed working with him at Spectrum. Hello and hugs to Brett and all of you. Sincerely, Larry and Paula Goddard along with our sons, Josh and Jace.

We are sorry to hear of your loss. We knew Darryl through our dealings with Spectrum. He was always very friendly and treated us like friends not customers. He will be missed.
Our prayers are with you,
Randy and Sheri Cress
Valerie: I am not sure if you will remember me, but we bowled together for several years along with Brad and Judy. I was so sorry to read of the loss of Darryl. I have thought of our “bowling group” several times though the years, and we did have some fun/silly times.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children at this time.

Valerie,
I was shocked when I picked up the paper and read of Darryl’s passing. It has been a long time since high school, but Darryl was always a friend to me. To be honest I did not even know you both had married. High school seems so long ago.
I am sorry for all the pain you are going through now. Praying for you and the family.
Kevin Metsinger

Dear Lafferty family, we are sorry to hear of your loss, Darryl was a professional in both business and sports , he will be sadly missed, our prayers to the family.
My family and I bought many carpets from Darryl at Spectrum. He was such a nice guy. It won’t seem like the same store the next time we go in. Trust in the Lord to give you peace and strength during your grieving process. He will truly be missed.
