Liz and family,
I just learned of Ed’s passing. My deepest sympathies to all of you. I’ll always remember how he liked to tease people. He got me a few times. I enjoyed seeing him and all of you at family get togethers.

I’m very sorry to learn of your loss. I have very fond recollections of all the time I spent with David at your houses when I was growing up. There were so many fun times — trips to Shawnee Mission Park, baseball games, riding in the Toronado … wonderful memories, all.

Linda, sorry for the loss of your father. I always enjoyed hearing about and seeing the results of his building projects. He was a helpful and creative man, and I’m sure he’ll be miss by the whole family.

My wife Martha and I lived in Westwood just adjacent to your house. You were our first “neighbors” as adults and it could not have been better. I remember when Ed and I planted the scotch pines along my fence. We shared the cost and the work. Ed was a great neighbor and friend and I missed his friendship when you moved (to Mission I think). I still have a picture of your youngest, Anne I believe, peeking over our fence. Your family is blessed to have had such a great dad and husband.
