Tim O. Allen

Tim O. Allen, 65, Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at home surrounded by family. 

 

Tim was employed by Sprint for 39 years until his retirement in 2004.

 

Tim was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Maxine (Rush) Allen and a sister and brother-in-law Kathryn and Donald Althouse.  Survivors include his wife Pam; two daughters Kathryn J. Tener, Lenexa, Kansas and Bekci G. Allen, Overland Park, Kansas; one brother Roger N. (Judy) Allen, Mentor, Ohio; and five grandchildren Bram Pruitt, Kelsey, Kyle, Ryan, and Kieran Tener.  

 

Memorial Contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice, 10100 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212.

 

Visitation and Funeral Services

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., at Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple, 21533 Midland Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66216.  Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the church with burial to follow in Monticello Union Cemetery.
