Irene J. Waniel

Irene J. Waniel, 91, of Calvert City, Kentucky, formerly of Merriam, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, September 26, in Paducah, Kentucky.

 

Mrs. Waniel was born in Detroit, Michigan.  She was a claims authorizer for the Social Security Administration. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boguslaw Waniel.  Survivors include a son, Jan M. Waniel and his wife, Jean, of Calvert City and a grandson, Vincent James Waniel.

 

Visitation and Funeral Mass

 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2009,  at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 -11 a.m., Friday at the church.
