Evelyn Mae Arnold Chown, 72, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at her home.

 

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Gus Chown; two daughters, Julie Langston and her husband, Randy and Joyce Arnold; step-daughter, Krista Bartlett and her husband, Michael; step-son, Mark Chown and wife, Mary; brother, Raymond Gass and wife, Linda; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice, 20333 W. 151st Street, TDB 2, Suite 301, Olathe, Kansas 66061.

 

Visitation amd Memorial Services

 

Memorial service will be 7:30 pm, Wednesday, September 30 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A Rosary Recitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday followed by a visitation until 7:30 pm.

    Evelyn was an exceptionally fine person that served god and her family and friends well in her life on earth. She will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her but god has relieved her of her suffering and has taken her to a better place. May she rest in peace.

    I am so glad I got to know Evelyn during the time we were in rehab. She was a very sweet lady. I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
