Psalm 116:v 12 – 15, & 19
What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of his people.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints
v.19 Praise ye the Lord

It is with great sadness I have received the message that Ralph has passed away. During my stays in America I got to know Ralph as an extremely nice and devoted person. He conveyed strong belief in God and I felt such good feelings being together with him. For me he was like a brother “over there”.
I hereby want to offer my deepest condolence to all Ralph`s closest family. May God bless you all during these difficult days!
To the Nelson family:
Ralph has now seen the face of the One he loved for many years. He was a wonderful friend to the Colas family when we moved to Merriam in 1955. The Nelson home was always open to us.
The fact is, we are also on our way Home. What a grand reunion there will be around the Throne of God because of our relationship to His dear Son.
“Death for the believer is simply turning out the light, for the daylight has come.”
In Christian love.

It is with great sadness I have received the message that Ralph has passed away. During our stays in America in 1990 we got to know Ralph as an extremely nice and devoted person. At that time we also met his wife Miriam. Ralph visited us together with Doris in 1996, an we had some good days together with them. Ralph conveyed strong belief in God and we felt such good feelings being together with him. .
I hereby want to offer our deepest condolence to all Ralph`s closest family. May God bless you all during these difficult days!

So many memories – Ralph with his ear to the radio, listening to Sat. night hockey (terrible radio connections in those days) – Ralph out on the prairie hunting wild animals, Ralph playing his guitar and singing silly songs to us, singing duets with Jim, making us proud in his RCAF uniform, watching many sports events, golfing – with an edge of competiteveness with Lloyd – spending time in Florida In all of that, always serving the Lord.
This was a man who loved the Lord, loved his family, and had a wonderful balance of music and athletics in his life. I really don’t want to say goodbye to him – except I know we will meet again!!
Brenda & Scott, I was so sorry to hear that your Dad had passed away. I have such fond memories of spending time with you guys. Your Dad was allways so kind and generous with his time and home. He will be missed. Kim and I are praying for you guys and you are in our hearts and thoughts.

Dear Brenda, I’m not sure you will remember me – it’s been a very long time since we have seen each other. Every time I pass the church on 75th St I’m reminded of so many memories – you and your family is one. I was so sorry to read of your dad’s passing. I think I had seen your dad a few times over the years but didn’t know if he would remember me so I didn’t say anything to him.. Your whole family was a strong testament of your faith and commitment to God and an encouragement to me. I did not know of your moms passing till today. What a comfort to know they are once again together. May God Bless and Comfort both you and Scott at this time.
Carolyn
Dear Brenda and Nelson family,
I just found out about Ralph the other day. I was saddened to hear that you have lost such a strong loving, spiritual force in your lives. But as Randy Alcorn says in his book, “Heaven”, We have not lost him, because we know where he is. He is experiencing the joy of Christ’s presence in a place so wonderful that Christ called it Paradise. And one day, we’re told, we’ll be brought back together in a magnificent reunion to “be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.” (IThess4:17-18).
I have not seen you in a number of years but the memories of you and your brother and your father are in my mind as I write. Remember the Summer job in your Dad’s Laboratory? What a kind, thoughtful and caring man. My prayers are with you and your family as the the funeral service will be soon.
God Bless You,
Andrea (Houchin) Walker
Brenda, Scott, and family: I was saddened to read of your dad’s passing in the KC Star. I have many fond memories of fun times at your childhood home in Shawnee. It was one of my favorite places to hang out. Your folks always made me feel like one of the family. Your dad was a godly man who lived what he believed. I know he will be missed. May God comfort you in your loss and give you His amazing grace in the days ahead. He is faithful! With love and sympathy, Paula (Hunt) Reed
