Dear Marilyn and Carolyn,
This is a little late but I just found out this evening that your Mom had passed away. I was out of town last Wednesday and so would have been unable to attend her memorial service.
I loved your mother. She and your dad were the best neighbors I could have ever asked for. I knew as long as they were in back of me, I was safe and someone was always looking out for me.
Your mom was the best listener and I always knew she would have good advice for me on how to handle problems. That’s why I called her tonight because I needed my friend to help me solve a problem. When I got the message the number had been changed, I just knew something was up. I drove over to the assisted living home where they told me the sad news.
I will miss her very much and I share in your sorrow. But I also remember the comfort and lightness your mom brought to my life. I wish your families the best in the future. I just wanted you to know how much your mom and dad meant to me.

Marilyn,
I just came across this obituary while trying to locate you to just say “hi.” So sorry to see that you lost both parents in such a short period of time. I know it’s been over a year since then, but I will still keep your family in my prayers.
Blessings,
Margie (Maggie) Palcher Stump
