John E. Wettstein, 80, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away July 20, 2009. 

 

John is survived by his wife, Joan Wettstein; by his son Mike Wettstein; and daughter Glenda Wettstein; and by his grandchildren.

 

Graveside Services

 

Graveside services will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.

    Joan and Family;

    As you know John and I were very close friends and worked together at TWA for many years, he was like a brother to me. Everytime we came back to K.C. I always tried to see him. We will be back next month to see our Grand son and family, will try to see you then. May perpetual light shine on his soul forever

    I am so sorry to read of John’s passing. Our famiies went to Northland Cathedral together in the 70’s and 80’s. He was a dear Christian friend to me and my family during that time. The family will be in my prayers.

    In thearms of angels, GOD called you home to him. No matter how the family tried to omit me from your life. I will always love you DAD. Always. And I have memories of you that no one can take away. One day when we are at the marriage supper of the lamb.GOD will wipe away all tears and we will not remember the sadness of this life. on behave of all my children and your great grandchildren.
    This is not goodbye- BUt rest in the arms of Jesus,until he calls us all home. We will never have to part again. lOVE YOUR DAUGHTER DIANE
