You touched my life. You will be missed. Godspeed.
I was very saddened when hearing of your loss. I know that Dave and I were not close but I still have a fond memory of meeting David in Bangkok while I was on R&R from Vietnam. We went to the world premier of the movie “Tora, Tora, Tora” while in Bangkok. And a few good drinks together.
He will be missed.
Our love and payers go out to each of you as you mourn the loss of your brother, father, son and grandfather. Though sadness is upon you now, I know that with your Christian faith, that same faith Dave had, you’re comforted in knowing that he is now “Home” to be with our loving Lord. God’s Blessings, Scott, Denise and Regan

The David Fliger Family,
David was one of my class mates and friend at St. Joseph High School 1959-1963. You can be certain that David is at peace in Heaven. He was a very good person.
Jerry,
Dear Mary & Family,
We were very saddened to learn of the passing of David. Please accept condolences from the children of Al & Betty Fliger. Although we had not seen David for many years, we treasure the memories of David, especially when your family lived in Iowa.
I am gratified that I was able to offer my condolences in person at Dave’s funeral and that I was able to meet family and friends.

I don”t Know how we are related but (My Dad who died in July of 1997 was Edward Fliger’s oldest Son) I was in Detroit in 1970 and met a lot of the family,My Uncle is Fred Fliger. I’m very sorry to here of a family member dieing. I would like to get to know more of my family…..
Linda Ungerman – To my knowledge, we would not be closely related. Our grandfather, Louis Fliger, Sr., came to the USA alone sometime in the 1900s. Not sure exactly when or why. While there are other Fligers in the USA, none of my family that I know of have been able to trace any direct relationship between them and Louis Fliger, Sr.’s immediate family, though I’m sure we’re all related somewhere back in time. Thank you for your condolences.
