We will and have missed Eveyln for some time as we move from her home area 3 years ago but not to fare as she wood call if she needed something, Al wood stop by and say Hi up intill she had to go to stay with her son John.
I Cindy will allways remember her cutting the grass and sweeping up after John when he did the grass as well. About every other evening we wood catch up on thing as to how work was going or the neighbor hood change, or wave at each other every morning or evening or when she wood go on vacations.
Then there was the dog that always got away from her and wood not come back.
Then years ago I found out that her Birthday was the same day as mine. We both like Yellow flowers.
Again I can not say enought about Miss Evelyn my Husband & I will miss her.
In Memory for her & the Family
God saw you getting tired,
when a cure was not to be,
so he closed his arms around you,
and whipered, “come to me”
You didn’t deserve what you went throught,
and so he gave you rest.
God’s pardon must be beautiful,
for he only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping
so peaceful,free from pain
we could not wish you back
to suffer that again.
Gos Bless
Dear John and Dianne,
I am devastated that I’d lost touch with Evelyn in the last few years. She was a very special woman and I learned much about how to move through this life from her sweet wisdom.
My favorite memory is the time I was in Kansas City and dropped by the house unexpectedly. She was in curlers and John was on the roof. I felt awkward and as if I shouldn’t have just dropped in without calling first. She made me feel so welcome; we spent time talking about her beloved Beagle and when I kept apologizing about dropping by, she finally said, “Honey, if someone drops by and they’re your friend, then they don’t care about your house…..and if they care about your house then they’re not your friend!”
I have thought of her so often. I’m sure she’s happy to be with John again. She talked about him every time we talked after he was gone. She was a kind sweet person and I will miss her.
Blessings,
Myra
