Dear mom, Crissy, Mark, Shannon and Simone,

It is with great sadness that I earlier today recieved the information that my dear American dad passed away on Tuesday. Between my tears I today choose to be thankful for the all the good moments dad gave me in my life. My exchange student year with you in Tampa 1987/88 still stands to me as the best year in my life. Later I was blessed to see you all again seveal times in Tampa, in New Orleanes, in Frankfurt and at the great surprise party arranged by your wonderful daughter and 2 sons a few years back. Mom, I feel terrible that I will not be able to be there with you on Saturday. My thoughts will be with you all day long. I love you very very much. You always taught me never to say goodbye but to say see you next time – today I will do just that. A big hug from your Danish son, Morten
