Barbara A. Link, 66, of Louisburg, Kansas, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Robert W. and Thelma Kate Teague. Survivors include her husband of 47 years David C. Link, one daughter Laura A. and husband Michael B. McCombs of Stilwell, Kansas; one son Michael D. Link, of Woodstock, New York; two sisters Margee and husband Wade Minor of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Terry and husband Edward Zihlman of Keller, Texas; and two grandsons Ian and Connor McCombs.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Brain Cancer Research for a Cure Foundation, P.O Box 751, Baltimore, Maryland 21203.
Visitation and Memorial Service
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Wea, KS; inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Lenexa, KS

Tim and I are incredibly saddened by the death of Barb, a beautiful, vibrant, kind, courageous & strong woman. Barb’s gracious style & infectious smile was seen & felt even last night as one more star illuminated the wide Kansas sky.
Dave, your devotion and love for Barb over the last few months and the 47 years will be her wings in heaven. We won’t be able to give you hugs because we will be in Dallas with our kids this week.

I have only the fondest of memories of Barb. All the years of my growing up she was always there with a smile and kind word. We will all miss her greatly.
Joyce and I were so saddened to hear the news today. We enjoyed Barbara’s friendship and will miss our visits at market . This is a difficult time, but like you, we will draw on our fond memories of her wonderful strength and character in the future.

We are so sorry about Barb’s passing. She was a lovely woman with qualities of an angel.
