Ethel Grace Webb

Ethel Grace Webb, 83, Shawnee, Kansas passed away Monday, May 11, 2009, at Sharon Lane Nursing Home.

 

Mrs.Webbwas born August 16, 1925 in Joplin, Missouri.  She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  Ethel had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and a proud foster mom of 18 children throughout the years.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Webb; a son James R. Webb and daughter Janice Elaine Webb.  Survivors include 4 daughters, Margaret Prince of Shawnee, Kansas, Connie Blum of Shawnee, Kansas, Karen Collins of Shawnee, Kansas, and Rhonda Reinhardt of Lenexa, Kansas; a son, Michael Webb of Kansas City, Missouri; a brother, James Lewis of Onalaska, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Kansas City Hospice, or the Salvation Army.

 

Visitation and Funeral Service

 

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with private burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

    Karen, Galen, and Family,
    You all our in our throughts and prayers. We can all rejoice that your mom is no longer suffering but home with her Lord and Savior. Her memory will live with you forever. What a joy to know that you will get you to see her again along with your Daddy. We pray for God to give you the comfort and strength you will need in the days ahead.

    So nice to know that Ethel is now at peace. What a nice service today. I really enjoyed the slide presentation. Ethel was a good friend for many years. Ernie and I always enjoyed our visits with her.
