Patricia D. Staples
Patricia D. Staples, 58, Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Sharon Lane Rehabilitation Center.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Mary Frazier. Survivors include her husband Robert of the home; daughter Christy (Martin) Thomas of Lawrence, Kansas; one sister Linda (Phillip) Spangler, Overland Park, Kansas; and nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Lane Rehab Center or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 6, at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, at the Chapel; burial will follow the service in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas.

I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Let us all think of her in a better place. It has been a hard fight on her part as well as yours Bob.

Bob – I was saddened to see that Pat has passed on. It’s been about 17 years since I had seen you both. She was such a nice lady, I really liked her. Always friendly and warm. Now she is reunited again with her dad, and I know she is happy and whole once again. I bet they are both bowling right now! My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat. She was a very special person. I will miss her contagious laugh and happy go lucky attitude. She will be very much missed especially all of the hilarious emails she would send to me. Please have comfort and peace in knowing that she is in a much better place, she is watching over you both to make sure you both are doing well. May god be with you at this very sad time but also know that she is still in your heart and will always be.
