Charles E. Carroll

Charles E. Carroll, 82, of Kansas City, Kansas passed peacefully April 21, 2009 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. 

 

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou in 1994.  He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Moore (Michael) of Shawnee, Kansas and Janet Newton (Rick) of Spring Hill, Kansas; six grandchildren Scott & Kirk Moore, Tiffany, Andy, Chris, & Tracy Newton; seven great-grandchildren Cole, Emma, Cody, Macee & Olivia Moore, Hannah & JR Newton;  one brother Ralph Carroll; and one sister Carol Morgan. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64105, www.cancer.org  or Cancer Action www.canceractionkc.org

 

Visitation and Funeral Service

 

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with a visitation beginning at 2 pm and the funeral service following at 3:30 pm.  Burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas on Monday, April 27, at 2 pm.

    We would like to extend our condolescences to all of the family. Mr Carroll held a special place in our hearts. He will be dearly missed by the Unit 15 staff. We really enjoyed his great sense of humor and kind heart. All of the family is in our thoughts and prayers.
