Charles (Chuck) Godbout

Charles (Chuck) Godbout, 79, of Raytown, Missouri passed away April 28, 2009.  Charles (Chuck) was born February 4, 1930 in Axtell, Kansas to John and Mary (Phillips) Godbout. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Greg Godbout.  He is survived by his wife Johnnie of the home; by his daughter Kathy Godbout; his daughter-in-law Mary Godbout; and by his grandchildren John and Elizabeth Godbout.  Chuck is also survived by his brother Robert Godbout and by his sister Dolores McDonald. 

 

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church.

 

Visitation and Funeral Services

 

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Roeland Park, Kansas, from 7 to 8:30 pm with the rosary recited at 7 pm.  A funeral service will be held Friday, May 1, 2009 at 10 am at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee,  followed by a graveside service in Seneca, Kansas at 2:30 pm.

    Johnnie, Kathy and family,
    Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I was so sorry to hear about Chuck’s stroke and death. Dad said he had called a few weeks ago and wanted to come up when they worked cattle last week.
    Chuck was a very good person and you were all very helpful to me when Fred was at KU Med. May God bless and keep you all.
