Anna Mae (Collins) Petty

Anna Mae (Collins) Petty, 89, of Olathe, Kansas,  passed away peacefully on March 3, 2009 at Good Samaritan Center in Olathe.

 

Anna was born August 19, 1919, in Hamilton County, Texas.  She  married B. L. Petty in 1944.  They spent their married life in Effingham, Illinois.   Anna was a 50 year life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Girl Scout leader, a life-time member of PTA and always a willing room mother.

 

She is survived by three children: Vicki Sinkler, Ron Petty, and David Petty.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by a granddaughter. 

 

The family wishes to thank the family of Good Samaritan for the excellent care Anna received.

 

Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Society. 

 

Memorial Service 

 

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on March 6, 2009, in the Chapel at Good Samaritan Society, 20705 W. 151st Street, Olathe, Kansas 66061-7222.
