I will miss you, Sharon. It was so much fun cruising with you. Whenever I see an hot dog, I will think of you because of our hot dog episode on the cruise. I had no idea you were an Elvis fan. So am I. I will see you in another life.

To the family: Her life was too brief and she must be needed somewhere else.

My heart goes out to all of you. Sharon was a very special member of our family too and will be missed. She will be welcomed by her Mom and Dad plus other relatives and friends, and will be free of pain. So very many people loved Sharon. When I was young, I believed that when you die you become a star in Heaven. It is clear here tonight so I will go outside and see the brightest star in the heavens, which will be our Sharon. May God bless you. My prayers are with you. Love, Ruby

    To The Family,
No words can describe what your going through. So I shall write to the famly to the best of my ability. I knew Sharon through my best friend Jennifer. When I met Sharon she was such a sweet heart. A very loving deticated wife.
One of the things that I remember about Sharon was the time that I went with Jennifer to Kansas to visit her dad, Perry. It was very hot and we decited that we would go boat ridding.
Sharon told me to put some sun screen on because she knew if you wern’t use to the sun, you’ll end up looking like a Lobster. Well like any child I thought to myself…since i’m a mexican I won’t burn. (lol that was a lie) Well I did, Sharon got a little upset that I didn’t listen to her. As a parent myself I understand why. It was pretty much dumb on my end.
Sharon quickly took me to see someone. If i’m not mistaking i think she took me to see a doctor. She also went to the company that she worked at and picked up some products to put on my severly burned body. I believe I looked worse than a Lobster.
On that day she took really good care of me. She also made sure that I went back home with the same products. She was a very concernd, carring and loving person. I can imagine what type of Mother and a Grandmother she was. You are very lucky to be her family to share that much love and compassion with her.
Jennifer and most of her family knows how much heartach my family went through with the loss of my brother.
Perry, no one could ever undestand how much pain you and your families going through. To let you understand I said a lot of WAS in my sentences. That’s wrong because she’ll always be by your side. Through good and bad times. It’s going to be a bumby ride for a long time but in time it does get a little better. Just always know that you have many people who loves you very dearly. This is something that you can’t ever get over. But as time goes by a part of you will heal, if you let it. Your family has been their for me for 25 years. And now it’s time for me, to be their for you. I love all of you so dearly! And I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will never forget Sharon.
    LOVE ALWAYS,
    Teresa Banda & Kids

  17. Paul and Dianna Peoples on March 2nd, 2009 4:46 pm

Sharon will be deeply missed. I knew Sharon for 22 years. I first met her when I started working at Upjohn. She introduced me to the animal side of the business. Don Purtle was on vacation and Sharon was filling in. She taught me everything I needed to know. We came to work one day and some product had fallen over. The product was messy and we had to clean it up. I helped Sharon. Sharon never forgot that. Every time someone would ask how long we worked together Sharon would tell that story again about how I helped her. She never forgot the people who showed her kindness. She was very caring and thoughtful.

Sharon always came to work happy and smiling. The first words out of her mouth were ‘good morning everybody.’ She always brought in the Star. She would read the obituaries to see if she knew someone who passed away. She would listen to 61 Country on the way to work and she would retell the jokes and tell you what Paul Harvey would have to say for the day. She always talked about her children and of course her grandchildren. They were the greatest part of her life.

Dianna and I have spoken often of the things we remembered about her and awaken in the night thinking of her. Sharon was one of our most favorite people we ever met. We will miss talking to her. Although the world lost another wonderful life she will always be remembered in our hearts.

    She will always be loved.

    Love Paul and Dianna Peoples
