Our Aunt Evelyn was kind and always smiling---a lady with a calm presence. She had a positive attitude about life, and was
always interested in us when we called or visited in person with her. She always asked about all the members of our families.

As long as I can remember, she verbalized her love for Lacy, and told us that she thanked God every day for their love for each other and for their life together.

She loved her family. Evelyn was blessed with two wonderful daughters, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. She kept us posted with all of ther activities when we talked. She was very proud of all of them.

We have very fond memories of the family get-togethers, spanning many decades. We can still hear, "Hi, honey, how ARE you?"
She remains in our hearts and prayers forever.

Evelyn and Lacy were both very special friends, and as close to being family as non-relatives could be.

We will always have fond memories of the good times our two families spent together.

We're sorry we can't be there to honor Evelyn and to express our love and condolences to Jackie and Sharon.

To Debbie, I am very sorry for the loss of your grandmother, however, I am very happy that you had as much time with her as you did. You always talked about how much you shared with your grandmother, and how much you enjoyed being with her. You have been very lucky to have had her in your life.

I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the honor and privileged of taking care of Evelyn these past few months. The one thing that she shared with me was how blessed her life had been. She said her life was always full of love and happiness all 99 years even during the depression in the 30's life for her was good. I told her she was the only person I had ever met that had a perfect life. She gave me hope that you can always find good in every thing it is all in how you are looking at it. She made me smile and laugh every day I spent with her and im so glad I was so blessed as to share part of her joyous, loving and beautiful life. Thank you I will cherish it forever. Love, Crystal
