Brandon,

This is surreal. Damon called me and shared the news with me. I was in aw and had absolutely nothing to say other than. Do you remember when the three of us saved that hawk on old 69 hwy!!? Or when you guys hit me up with 5 bucks to go to tangle wood lake!!? Or going swimming out east of town off of tiger road in that creak!!? Or going to state line to shoot things.. I’ll being able to tell stories about Brandon forever. YOU ARE MISSED!!

Having Brandon as a friend is something i will cherish forever. I’m saddened that i have lost a great friend. He always had away of keeping high spirits. I want to say thank you for accepting me as an outsider when i moved from California and becoming my friend.

My heart goes out to the entire family.

I really enjoyed getting to know you and work with you for my stay in Merriam Kansas, you were exceptional business man, loved by your family, friends and business associates, I will never forget you, hope you are watching over ALL of us, Jeff loves you so much, not to mention your whole family. Wow..unbelievable!! I am so saddened to hear of the loss of an old friend from school. Brandon and I had some good times together. When I heard the news, I didn’t want to believe it was the same Brandon that I knew. I pray that in spite of all this chaos and confusion, you his family and closest friends will know that God is still sovereign and on His thrown. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear family, I got to know Brandon through my son Luke Bumgarner . I have always thought of Brandon as a son. His love of life was contagious, his smile lit up a room, his love for friends and family was such a beautiful attribute. He will always be remembered and loved by our family. My husband and I were heartbroken to hear of Brandon’s passing. We both worked with Brandon at RH Donnelley. Our fond memories of him are that of a very intelligent young man, who learned quickly and knew how to get things done. His smile would light up the room and his sense of humor could always make a bad day, good. It is hard to understand why Brandon was taken at such a young age, but we are confident that God has a special purpose for such a special person. We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to know him and call him our friend.
Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family. We hope that in time you find justice and peace.

Oh Erica, it doesn’t seem that long ago that you were there helping me through the hardest time in my life and it seems to soon that I am her doing the same for you. Brandon was one of my first real friends in Pleasanton and he made me feel so welcome. I remember all his Halloween parties and I still have pictures of him from prom. He will be so missed. I will always think of him as a friend. Just remember that I love you and that I am always here for you no matter what. Life is too short, cherish what you have, and always remember what you have lost.

Jeff I just love you and I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish you contentment and happiness, and in time you will have both.

I would just like to say that Brandon was a wonderful, caring person. I was so blessed to have had the opportunity of being one of his classmates through the years. He will be sadly missed. He has a very special place in my heart. I will never forget all the great memories because of him. He truely knew what to do to make sure every moment with him was a memory.
Jeff, you have a very special brother and all though you may not see Brandon he will always be with you. Watching over you and guiding you every step of the way. I will never forget the Hard times he would give you, But hey he was and is your little brother and thats how he showed he cared. On one hand he was as Onrey as could be but on the other hand he was Truely Caring & Sincere.

The Service for Brandon was beautiful. It showed just how many lives he truely touched. He could not have asked for a better family to share his life with. I wish you all Peace and Understanding of why God chose Brandon to be with him.
