    Dear Camille, Karla, and Kevin,

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I know that she will be greatly missed by all of you. I talked with Aunt Gay only a couple of weeks ago and she sounded so good. She was so proud of all of her children. She loved you all deeply. I am comforted in the fact that she is united with Uncle Dick once again. She missed him so. They truly loved one another. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sincerely, Paul, Shawn (Anderson), Jordan, Ryan and Matthew Fry

  8. Mickey Anderson, Cally and Mariah on November 22nd, 2008 9:07 am

I find this message of condolence very hard to write. Words cannot adequately describe the Gay and what she stood for in my eyes. She was a true lady. She and Dick loved each other in a way that only a few very lucky people ever get to experience.

Kamille, Karla and Kevin my deepest sympathy to you. Your mother loved you all very much. The loss of a parent leaves us with many emotions. Draw upon the happy times and let the persons that you all have become be Gay’s legacy. She raised three incredible children and encouraged you to reach out and grab life. Pass this love and encouragement on to your children and keep the legacy going.

I was very lucky to have met Gay and have her in my life. Cally and Mariah loved their Aunt Gay. Visits were always special. We have many wonderful memories of her and Dick during the time they lived near us.

Please accept condolences from us and be assured that in no way do these few words express the love and respect we had for Gay. May she be at peace with Dick. They are hand in hand once more.

    Love to you all,

    Mickey, Cally and Mariah

Gay Nell and I had lost contact a few years back but our mutual cousin Kathy Brizendine Cotten has kept informed of Gay and her sister Mary. I am sorry she did not get to attend the cousin re-union in Arkansas this year in October, Mary had said she was sick but I had no idea how much. I know she will be missed and my condolences go out to her children and grand-children, Gay and I were both born in 1940. We lived in Fresno, Ca. and saw each other every week for a long time. Again, I am so sorry for your lost, but as a Christian she is celebrating in Heaven
Peggy (My Mother was LouElla Magie Benson)
